The family performance "The Gorgels" is based on the children's book of the same name by comedian Jochem Myjer, 2016 winner of the Prize of the Dutch Children's Jury. Wonderful that this imaginative and exciting adventure can now be seen in the theater.
In the middle of the night, Melle wakes up. There is a strange creature sitting on the edge of his bed. It looks like a ball of wool, with arms and legs and two hairy, pointy ears. But when Melle turns on the light, the creature has disappeared. When he tells about it at school, everyone laughs at him. Even Dad, who is a biologist, says it's nonsense. Such creatures don't exist. But Melle knows for sure: Gorgles really do exist! With his super eyes, he goes exploring and experiences the most exciting adventures. All alone, but that's no problem for Melle.
