It is the now tradition that Anúna visits our country in December. The internationally renowned choir from Ireland makes the hearts of many music lovers beat faster with angelic songs and chants of great class. Led by composer, arranger and tenor Michael McGlynn, the singers regularly move gracefully through the aisles while singing, literally surrounding you with a tapestry of beautiful polyphonic and flawless singing, rhythmic songs and meditative songs. Anúna draws its inspiration from both religious sources and old world folk tales. 'A Mystical Christmas' contains well-known Christmas songs and, through the combination of breathtaking a cappella, the beautiful costumes and flickering candlelight, is guaranteed to put you in heavenly spheres, which is further enhanced by the fact that the concert, like two years ago, takes place in the beautiful Sint Jan de Doper in Waalwijk.
