Carola is not good with relationships. In a fever dream around Christmas, she is visited by three spirits. The spirit of the Past is Xander, her late husband and first sincere love. The spirit of the Present is Xavier, her great love with whom she is currently in a fighting divorce. The spirit of the Future is X, the man she will one day end up with. This year, Carola's Christmas will be primarily a time of insights about how she stands in relationships: a mirror for her behavior toward men.
