Candlelit tours of Loevestein

During the Christmas vacations, Loevestein is hosting four evenings of candle-lit tours and winter dishes.

Your arrival this evening is already special. In the dark you will walk towards the illuminated castle, and through the atmospherically lit fortress you will find your way to the cozy gathering place on the Voorburcht. The historic walls, cobbled courtyard, wooden bridges and tall towers provide the perfect backdrop for a classic Christmas feel. Around fire pits, enjoy a hot chocolate or Glühwein according to Victorian recipe, while live Christmas carols are sung.

After this warm welcome, you'll head to our atmospheric Brew House with a view of the castle for dinner.

Dinner starts with a served appetizer, followed by an extensive winter stew buffet with three kinds of stew and delicious garnishes. The tasty Victorian dessert will also be served at the table.

The tour of the castle is a very special one, because especially for this evening the entire castle is lit with candles. The atmosphere is unique, and the stories are even more beautiful this way. A memory you will never forget!

The candle-lit tours take place on December 27 and 28 and January 3 and 4.
Time: 17:00 - 21:00.

The candle-lit tour is an intimate and exclusive evening, with a maximum of 70 seats available per evening. Reservations are required and can be made through the Slot Loevestein website.
