Knights and damsels visiting Ammersoyen castle

On Saturday, December 28, the knights and damsels of re-enactment group De Heeren van Altena will visit Ammersoyen Castle. Come and experience the daily life of the 15th century.

In the armory you will find various armories of the Lords and see the armor with which our knights go to war. The knights will explain to you all about the different weapons and their protective equipment of the time.

Or watch our craftsmen busy making all kinds of everyday products and objects. Also take a walk along the tables in the knights' hall, because there the knights love to tell you strong stories about the battle and their victories.

Good to know:
- Booking an e-ticket can be done through the castle's website
- Kasteel Ammersoyen is extra attractively decorated this Christmas season. The many candles, lights and Christmas trees quickly bring you into the medieval Christmas atmosphere.
-The knights and damsels will be present all day during the castle's opening hours from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
