Hera String Quartet

Talented young musicians who are at the beginning of their careers are given the opportunity to gain stage experience. The concerts have an informal character. Presenter Bart de Graaf introduces the 'person behind the musician'.

The Hera Quartet was founded in October 2022 in Amsterdam and is mentored by Dmitri Ferschtmann at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Since November 2023, the Hera Quartet has officially been part of the NSKA (Dutch String Quartet Academy). The quartet has been admitted to the Isa (International Summer Academy) and to the prestigious Chigiana Academy (Siena, Italy). The Quartet now gives concerts throughout the Netherlands.
