The musical friends from the Irish town of Kilkenny put traditional folk songs and ballads in a new, dynamic format, winning over both diehards and a new generation of fans. The group - founded in 1998 and creating a furor under the name The Kilkennys since 2008 - learned its trade in the pubs and now brings the same intimate atmosphere to the theater. With upbeat renditions of Irish classics, energetic charisma, rapping instrumental rhythms and unadulterated Irish humor, they transform any venue into an Irish pub in no time.
