Linda van der Linden would not easily call herself a "Bossche" but nevertheless has been living in this Brabant capital for over 10 years and it was there, where she found the desire to write her own songs. Started years ago and played in many bands but only now is it right. 'It needed some time to mature,' Linda says. She says she has long suffered from a critical voice, a voice from long ago that she now often manages to shake off. 'Creativity can only really break free when you strip it of that critical layer, when you allow yourself to give everything without judgment.' And that beautiful songs come out of that is now a fact. Sung with a velvet vulnerability that suits her and makes it so much her own. She works in an addiction clinic as a music therapist and thus knows how music, literally can be of vital importance and that can be heard in her songs.

Inspired by her heroes from the 1970s, such as Melanie, Joni and Janis, Linda writes songs about the big and small things in life. About connecting with yourself or not and traveling in your head. About the love of music, summer and the search for ultimate freedom in your own backyard or beyond. Linda sings and plays stories in songs. Stories of herself or other musicians that touch her, a mix of covers and her own work but with an authentic sauce Linda.
