Twelve participants of the talent program "Imagine ... your own show" are working all year under the guidance of presenter and comedian Leon van der Zanden on their own show, which they will stage at De Leest in May 2025.

Twelve participants embarked on a journey to create their own half-hour performance in March 2024. They spent the first half year digging for their own stories and the second half year shaping those stories. Some chose comedy, others dance, music, singing or a combination. Anything was allowed as long as it enhanced authenticity and crowned their journey.
They also watched professional performances together and interviewed the creators extensively, learned to "storytell" with a screenwriter and worked with a professional technical team to provide their shows with the right light and sound. And now it's finished. Experienced, inexperienced but in the meantime they all come prepared to introduce you to who they really are. In May, this first edition of the year-long project will come to its climax: the performances.

PS: In October 2024, the second edition will start with twelve fresh participants. They will play at the Reading on Thursday, October 23, Friday, 24 and Saturday, October 25, 2025.
