Geesje and Adam celebrate their seventieth wedding anniversary - Hooray! A great time to reflect on what that time together has brought. We wander with them through a kaleidoscopic labyrinth of important and unimportant events from their eventful lives. The first anxious kiss, awkward sex, the pink cloud, maternity tears, adultery, car-free Sunday, Ban-the-Bomb, make-good sex, empty nest syndrome, sneaky Alzheimer's....

As if in a fever dream, highs and lows pass by one more time and raise in Geesje and Adam the question of whether their relationship brought them the happiness they so craved as young people. Or would another choice, at the time, have been better?

Geesje: "Who am I without you?"
Adam: "Well?"
Geesje: "No idea.... but I'm already jealous of that woman."

The text of this madcap trip down memory lane is by Peer Wittenbols, who recently received the prestigious Charlotte Köhler Prize 2023 for his theatrical oeuvre. It is directed by all-rounder Titus Tiel Groenestege.
