Teacher Carla Nowak is committed to teaching math and physical education to her class. Things are going well and she manages to motivate the adolescents. Then a series of thefts takes place at school and one of her students soon becomes a suspect. An outraged Carla decides to get to the bottom of the case herself, but the case is not so easy to solve and has far-reaching consequences. Quickly labeled as idealistic by the rest of the staff, Carla must answer to angry parents and mediate between quarreling students.
