Lecture by Bart Beaard: Monuments in Heusden

Since the summer of 2020, the Working Group Monuments Heusden has been working on an inventory of monuments within the Municipality of Heusden. The goal was and is to preserve the knowledge of the approximately 370 National and Municipal Monuments. The working group does this by describing the monuments, photographing them and making the information accessible on the website of Heemkundekring Onsenoort. During the inventory, objects were added that were judged by the Working Group as historically valuable and image-defining and were added as 'Onsenoort object'. It is now about 530 monuments. The 'Weekblad Heusden' weekly describes a monument in one of the Heusden cores.
