Theater Tattoo Waalwijk
On Saturday evening, September 21, the second edition of Theater Taptoe Waalwijk will take place on the historic town hall square. The "House of Waalwijk" will be the setting for a wonderful performance full of music, show, song, dance and theater. This edition will focus on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Waalwijk in October 1944. How is still a surprise.
The countdown begins. The line-up is complete. The show and marching bands performing are known and the theater and support acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Five top Dutch orchestras will make their appearance. Dutch Pipes & drums, Euroband, Wilhelmina, Exempel and Kamper Trompetterkorps will provide the necessary spectacle in the tattoo theater.

One of the support acts is disabled drum band Prins Maurits from Kaatsheuvel. In the supporting act they will bring visitors in the mood with great beats. During the show "Tom Tom the tambourmaitre" will make his appearance. What he will do with his show band is still a surprise. In addition, two dance groups from the Arts Center will participate, including the Dutch Hip Hop Champions.
Admission for standing areas on the sides of the playing field is free. Want to spend the evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. sitting relaxed? Then reserve grandstand tickets with the best view of the performance. These can be ordered online at a discounted price of €5 (instead of €7.50). Disabled seats are also available here.
