Organist Luc Budding
Luc Budding is only 13 years old, but already has a fine list of performances to his name. He received his first lessons at the age of 5. During a concert by the internationally renowned organist Martin Mans, he was so touched by the organ that he wanted to take lessons as well, and with whom he now performs regularly. Luc is now already church organist in the Reformed Church Zetten-Andelst. He plays (lunch) concerts and has already played several large organs such as in Kampen, Zaltbommel, Zutphen and Groningen. Luc is interested in different styles of music such as choral music, baroque and modern arrangements. Already several times he has performed in Martin Mans' online program that is broadcast weekly on YouTube. His talent is remarkable. This afternoon at St. John's he will perform compositions by Bach, Vierne and Boëllmann.
Everyone welcome
During this concert, the impressive sounds of the organ in the excellent acoustics of St. John's will once again come into their own. Everyone is welcome in the church and, as always, admission is free. The organ concert on Jan. 11 will begin at 3:45 p.m. Afterwards, a free donation is requested to cover the costs of this activity.
