The Longstreet Singers

Vocal group The Longstreetsingers was founded in 1994. Once started as a pop and theater choir, the group has increasingly focused on coming out as a vocal group. From its inception, the group has focused on performing and creating a show. Various performances have therefore passed in review over the past 30 years. Also around Christmas the group is very active and transforms then to Dickensgroup Waalwijk. At various locations they then sing the most beautiful modern Christmas songs with an appropriate choreography. Also in their 'normal' repertoire the choreography is an important part. Do not expect wild dances but also here the movements form a whole with the singing. The group consists of 17 ladies who may and can express their passion during the many performances. Musical director is Karin Tooren and the choreographer is Aukje Nieuwenhuijze.
