Wim Verschuren (b. 1997) graduated with Belgian master pianist Stéphane de May at the Conservatory of Rotterdam. At the age of 7 he started piano lessons. At the age of 12 he continued his piano studies with Russian pianist Kamilla Bystrova, teacher of the Young Talent Class of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
Wim Verschuren was a finalist at the Prinses Christina Concours in Rotterdam in 2013 and a prize winner at the prestigious YPF competition in Amsterdam. In 2015, Wim won first prize at the FestiVal d´Anniviers in Switzerland and became laureate of the Classic Young Masters foundation.
In 2018, he won the audience award and the press award during the finals of Vught Klassiek.

In addition to solo concerts, Verschuren also performs as a soloist with orchestra. Among others, he performed solo with the Utrecht Orchestra during the performance of Saint-Saëns' Carnaval des Animaux (2014). In 2019, he performed Beethoven's famous Third Piano Concerto four times with the Orchestra of Utrecht and the Serenata Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, he soloed with the Wageningse Studenten Koor en Orkest Vereniging during two performances of Grieg's piano concerto.
In addition to being a concert pianist, he has also been Artistic Director of the Friends of the Kleine Kerk Voorhout Foundation since 2021.
