In the 1990s, MTV launched the "MTV Unplugged" sessions with sensational success.

On September 9, 1992, Golden Earring gave the Dutch answer with an acoustic concert at Grand Café De Kroon in Amsterdam. During this unique performance, the Earring played classics such as Back Home, Another 45 Miles, Radar Love, Twilight Zone, When The Lady Smiles, Going To Run and many others. What started two years ago as an acoustic experiment has now grown into a full-fledged unplugged tribute to Holland's best rock band. Under the name "The Naked Truth," Roland, Robbert Paul, Robert-Jan and Johan play the Earring's greatest hits.
