After a dangerous journey, Souleymane finally arrived in Paris from Guinea. He manages to earn some money as a meal delivery man, but is "sans papiers" and, for the time being, is staying illegally in France.

As he rushes through the busy streets of Paris on his bicycle, Souleymane prepares for the important conversation he must have with the immigration authorities. He has rehearsed a good story for this decisive moment. Only it is not his own story....

The French drama, L'Histoire De Souleymane, was the winner of Un Certain Regard - Best Performance and Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
