Master storyteller Pip Utton stands agitated in 'Adolf' as the Führer himself
You are witnessing the final hours of an irresistibly idealist with a rather anomalous logic.
Pip Utton stands agitated in "Adolf" as the Führer himself. The story is set in Hitler's bunker in Berlin, anno 1945. He rants against his generals, who have lost his war. In his paranoid tirade, Adolf exposes the roots of fascism. Then, suddenly, we find ourselves in an ordinary pub, anno now. A man trots on about the state of the world and the country: liberal asylum laws, all those blacks on the streets, the Muslims, Jews and Palestinians, you name it. An ordinary man, just like you and me?

Pip Utton set foot in Dutch theaters for the first time in April 2006. Without effort, the English master actor transforms from Adolf to The Hunchback of the Notre Dame to Churchill. Utton even stepped into the skin of Margaret Thatcher. In short, a unique personality.
