Exuberant musical tribute to two extraordinary Dutch East Indies brothers
The Blue Diamonds was a highly successful Dutch duo: Riem and Ruud de Wolff broke through in 1960 with the worldwide hit "Ramona," followed by successful tours. Their stormy beginnings were interrupted by military service. When they stood down, The Beatles had broken through and times had changed, but the men remained undiminished popular in the Far East, where they still performed regularly. In 2001, after Ruud's death, Riem made the album 'Out of the blue' with some fellow artists under the name 'The New Diamonds'.
With this tour of Dutch theaters, musical heirs Steffen de Wolff and Patrick Drabe bring an exuberant musical tribute to the extraordinary Dutch-Indian brothers!
