"An explosive comedy where there is full-on laughter." (NRC)

Maria Goos' classic "DOEK!", which won the prestigious Toneel Publieksprijs in 2011, is back in the theater. Liz Snoijink and Porgy Franssen play the actors Lies Oorthuizen and Richard Berkhove. Onstage they manage to push each other to great heights, but offstage a destructive side stands in the way of a great love, causing them to lose sight of each other.

"DOEK!" is a challenge for any actor to play: an abrasive comedy about real and unreal on stage, in art and in love.

'An explosive comedy where there are full-on laughs. Buijs pushes the pace, allowing Goos' muscular dialogues and black humor to shine.' - [NRC ★★★★

'In "Cloth!", a play about a play, Maria Goos' finely vicious text continues to excite. Director Jan-Paul Buijs alternates the pace well with these two born actors. 'Credible and smooth.' - de Volkskrant ★★★★

'DOEK! is a play within a play within a play, a droste effect with which both Goos and her two dyed-in-the-wool performers virtuosically juggle, with visible pleasure.' - Theatererkrant, critic's choice
