The presentation "The History of the Picture Postcard" will feature various themes such as Jugendstill, Art Deco, WWI and II, Advertising and Politics. Largely, these are postcards from the collection of former Waalwijker Johan Pullens. He started collecting postcards of the former municipality of Baardwijk. Special postcards from that collection will therefore be highlighted. In addition, also some special cards of Besoyen, Waalwijk and other places from the Langstraat will be shown.

There is also attention for the recently published book 'The famous picture postcards of Berkers Verbunt' of which Johan is co-author. Until recently there was an exhibition about this in Museum Klok en Peel in Asten.
This book also contains beautiful images of postcards from 'Langstraat' places.
