Surreal circus performance full of poetry, slapstick and absurdism
In 2009, the festival version of "Man with Hat" received rave reviews; seven years later, the theatrical version was released and once again received rave reviews. "A delightful spectacle," wrote the Volkskrant in a four-star review. At the request of many, the surreal circus performance full of poetry, slapstick and absurdism is back in theaters.
'Man with Hat' is a depiction of 'bumping into yourself'. The stage design by Jelle Engel is an ode to the 'anarchitectonic' work of artist Gordon Matta Clark (1943-1978). Directed by Jakop Ahlbom, it has become a surreal circus with a lot of humor, in which you absolutely do not see the next move of the man with the hat coming.
Fun for the whole family! The performance is suitable for children ages 10 and up.
