A few weeks before my own summer vacation, I get to taste the vacation feeling already. I have an appointment at EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel. The sun is showing its face now and then, which only enhances the vacation feeling.

During our introduction interview, he tells us that he has previously worked in the Netherlands and France as an entertainment employee. In addition to his current work, he and colleague Ashley wrote the park show "Sprookjesconcert. Visiting the pool, I see several pools, playground equipment and a water slide. While the changes won't be major, outdated elements will be replaced to ensure years of enjoyment again.
During the tour, I discover the park's many facilities: an a la carte restaurant, a cozy grand café and a snack bar for a quick bite. For children, there is a kids club with activities and craft hours. The stage regularly hosts park shows, such as the aforementioned "Fairytale Concert.
We walk along the miniature golf course, which offers plenty of variety. A special hole where you have to hit through loose sand seems like a nod to the nearby Loonse and Drunense Dunes. Further on, we see an interactive soccer game, ideal for guests who want to kick a ball around alone or together. This vacation park truly offers something for everyone!
The cottages at the park stand out for their cleanliness and diversity. The owners themselves choose the interior from a catalog, ensuring quality. I get to take a look at a cozy cottage, complete with a modern kitchen, sitting area, and two bedrooms. For children, there is even a mural and a Nintendo Switch in the bedroom. This makes the stay even more attractive for families.
The park is beautifully landscaped with lots of greenery, a pond with decking and several playgrounds. A highlight is the "Gnome Trail," an adventurous treasure hunt for children where, wearing a pointed hat, you can encounter real gnomes. Also special is the pizza vending machine, where you can pick up a delicious pizza within minutes.
At the exit, Nout points me to the environmental station, where waste is collected separately. EuroParcs Kaatsheuvel has Green Key Gold certification, the highest sustainability rating in the hospitality industry. The park's commitment to sustainability includes electric transportation and employee awareness training.
