Reformed Church Giessen
The reformed church in Giessen stands in a unique location: in the former floodplain of the Meuse River. The present church, built in 1856 and expanded in 1963, is not the first on this site. This church was once the center of the village until the changing course of the Meuse destroyed the western part of the church building and surrounding buildings. The current building has a striking clock with only one hand. Cycle past this historic site and admire the church's remarkable location.
