They started nine years ago with a store and a small piece of catering. At that time the catering consisted of a coffee corner where you could go for a nice cup of coffee with a piece of cake baked by Dolly. What was paramount from the beginning was the quality of the products they sold. No ready-made sandwich but a sandwich with bread from the local bakery and fresh ham and cheese. This is something they have carried through to the store as well. You will find special and unique products. Ideal for a gift or just for yourself.

Dolly is originally a fashion designer and Mario a musician. Dolly missed the contact with people in her work and decided to change course together with Mario. Together they wrote a plan for an empty building on the market square in Geertruidenberg and from that came the idea to rent out spaces in the building. First they started by renting out a wall for artwork. Then they thought, if you can rent out a wall, you can also rent out a space. And that's exactly what they did. Dolly and Mario drew inspiration from a store in Antwerp that had several brands under one roof. The diversity of it really appealed to Dolly and Mario. Eventually they found 15 entrepreneurs who wanted to participate in this exciting concept. The store became such a hit after one year that it was packed with tenants. At that time, they had 52 tenants in the building. Eventually, during the following period, they reduced the number of tenants a bit and got a catering license for the outdoor terrace, among other things. Currently, they have tenants for in-store shopping, a bit of their own purchasing, consignment, a café with terrace and an in-store hair salon.

The specialty of this concept is connecting people. Diversity stands tall and inside the sun always shines. Dolly and Mario are pure people with a heart for business. Their goal? To merge craft, sustainability, local, hip and social into a special place for young and old. It's nice to see how a store full of different entrepreneurs can still feel like one store. The products they sell all have a story and so do the people who stop by.
