Saint Bruno
At the site where the Carthusian monastery used to stand, there is a statue of St. Bruno, founder of the Carthusian order. He carries in his left hand the book in which the monastic rules were written down. Saint Bruno's left foot rests on a globe. It represents the contempt for the worldly pleasures that Saint Bruno renounced.
