Four Old Wives
The old ( the mill ) and the new ( the new housing development ) had to be reflected in this image. It is based on the old rhyme: four old wives, couldn't get each other. The four figures make a round dance and can be related to the sails of the mill. The rhyme ends: they have found each other and are now joined in bronze.
