Marianne always wanted to have her own B&B. Marianne's parents used to own a hotel-café-restaurant in Geertruidenberg. She loved that even then. The moment she got the opportunity to build her own B&B she grabbed it with both hands. Marianne and her husband, Ad Roza had to do a lot of work before the farmhouse could really be put into use.

Marianne is most proud of how they were able to turn the ruin they bought into such a beautiful farm. They did most of the work themselves, even the garden, which did not have a single tree or shrub, has been transformed into a beautiful piece of land with many fruit trees and shrubs. For example, there are several apple, cherry, fig, walnut and pear trees. But also white, red, black and gooseberry bushes. It took Ad and Marianne almost 20 years to get the farm to look the way it does today, but the result is impressive!

When you arrive at Marianne's, a time will be arranged for breakfast the next day. You are completely free in this. During breakfast you will be spoiled with lots of fresh, local products. Marianne uses many vegetables from the vegetable garden, eggs from her own chickens, fruit from the fruit trees and bushes, homemade jam, honey from the bees, bread from the local bakery, cheese from the cheese-maker and meat from the butcher. Genuine local produce! As an animal lover, you are in the right place at B&B De Langstraat. During your stay you will see the chickens, but also dogs, cats and horses should not be missing in this list.

The sleeping area used to be a baking shed. The B&B has a private bathroom with toilet, sink and rain/and hand shower and a hallway. The room has a double box spring (1.60 x 2.00m.), a sink with cold water, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, smart TV, sitting area, gas fireplace and wifi. The hall and bathroom have underfloor heating.

You enter through the side of the farmhouse, where you can store your bicycles if necessary. From this part you come to the private entrance to the B&B. From here you can also go to the common room where you can have breakfast. You can also use the pool table, darts, shuffleboard and other games.

At Marianne's B&B, you have the choice of having breakfast on the porch, on the meadow or in a separate room inside. You experience the peace and space of rural living. Marianne takes care of the complete picture. Would you like to go out by bike? Marianne will contact a bike rental company for you and make sure there are bikes ready for you. Because Marianne has lived in Raamsdonk for such a long time, she can give you good advice on activities within the community. This is also something Marianne finds very important. The youngest guests are in their twenties and the oldest in their eighties. So the B&B is really suitable for everyone. The B&B is also regularly used for wedding couples.

What Marianne enjoys doing most is taking care of the breakfast. Especially how it then finally looks in combination with the garden where you sit as a guest. She loves being able to offer this rural and friendly experience.
