Since 1963, this family business owned by brothers Wil and Finy van Esch has focused on post-tanning Split Leather. The leather comes mainly from Italy and undergoes the process of washing, dyeing, sanding and printing in the factory. The work has changed very little over the years and much is still done by hand in the traditional way. The large wooden drums for washing have not yet been replaced. Unlike in the past, environmentally friendly agents are now used and the water is cleaned and reused. The ready-made sheets of leather leave the factory to make bags, belts but especially clogs. A successor is also already in place. The factory remains in family hands with Rico van Esch.
