Thanks to the convenient network of junctions, you walk (or cycle) the most beautiful routes in National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen, During this 18-kilometer walking route from Natuurpoort Van LoonLoon op Zand you walk along idyllic forest paths, through colorful moors and along vast sand plains. Tip: be sure to deviate from the route to really experience the sand flats.
De Loonse en Drunense Duinen is a nature reserve of over 7,000 soccer fields in size. You will find huge sand flats, water bodies, purple moors and vast forests. It is one of the largest areas of drifting sand in Western Europe. The wind can blow over the sandy plains undisturbed, creating an ever-changing landscape. Whatever the season, you will experience this nature reserve differently with every visit.
