Bike & Leather route east

Experience the rich history of the leather and shoe region of De Langstraat. For centuries, this region has been the center for everything to do with shoes and leather. Hop on your bike and ride one of the two Bike & Leather routes. You can choose from the western route and this eastern route. Or you can cycle them both.
The two routes go through Loon op Zand, Kaatsheuvel, Waalwijk and Drunen, among others, and lead you past bag makers, leather repairers, tanners and the Schoenenkwartier. Stop by these locations and watch the videos for a look behind the scenes. Experience the stories of the leather industry, which was (and is) so important to De Langstraat: learning garden of Brabant!
