Rider route De Smulhoeve along ice rink

2 hours (8.0 km)

There are nearly 100 kilometers of bridle and horse trails in the National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen. In addition, the drifting sand is freely passable and perfect for an adventurous outdoor ride. On the outskirts of De Loonse en Drunense Duinen are several riding stables from which you can start the route. This equestrian route begins in Kaatsheuvel, at De Smulhoeve where several organized rides also start.

Note: To explore De Loonse en Drunense duinen on horseback, you need a rider's pass or a day pass. The income from this is used by Natuurmonumenten to protect the nature reserve and maintain the trails, among other things.
