Ellie Oerlemans, member of the local history society and tour guide at museum De Looierij takes you on a virtual tour of Dongen. From the large mansion located on the Heuvelsstraat with 17 bedrooms, the director used to look out on his leather factory and his workers. The small houses housed home tanneries, and the Heuvel Park consisted of a number of leather-related businesses.
