Anne-Marie Steenmeijer, together with her husband Jeroen, has been the owner of this bed & breakfast in Geertruidenberg for several years. The bed & breakfast consists of two beautifully decorated rooms and a separate, common room where guests can enjoy breakfast. If there are several guests, Anne-Marie provides breakfast in the cozy basement.
The bed & breakfast is suitable for everyone. Whether you like walking, cycling, going to a party or a nice dinner with a wine pairing, at Inn de Vijf Sinnen you've come to the right place.

The vaulted cellar is the real eye-catcher of the property. It is like stepping into another world and time. The cellar was built in the thirteenth century, has an attractive appearance and is equipped with all modern conveniences.

The vaulted cellar is used for meetings, parties, workshops, dinners or High Tea's. These High Tea's are freshly prepared by Anne-Marie according to her mother's recipes; she had an English lunchroom in this basement for many years.
But fellow sufferers of grief and loss also meet here monthly in the Mourning Café and Anne-Marie uses the space as a coaching practice.

Starting in January 2024, you will be able to eat "what the pot calls" on Monday evenings. A healthy meal for people who do not feel like and/or have time to cook or do not want to eat alone.

Anne-Marie likes the variety in her work best. It is a place with a lot of potential, so her dream is to be able to make the many ideas she has come up with come true. From cleaning to cooking dinners, she does everything herself. And luckily Jeroen also jumps in after work every now and then.

The name Inn the Five Senses was discovered on a facade stone by Anne-Marie's mother and represents the five senses stimulated by this special place.
