This Louis XVI-style house still has medieval features. However, the bluestone platform is a late 20th century addition. To the right behind the gate is a partial late medieval alley, to transport goods across to the rear, called "borrieweg. In 1622 Wouter Heys lived here, owning the brewery "'t Hert" on the Haven side. In 1672 the house comes into the hands of brewer and mayor Matthijs Schuijfhill and through three other owners/brewers Hermanus Wessels buys the house in 1784, which is then called "Het Witte Hart. From 1928 to 1959 the Berg artist and general practitioner Jo Jaspers lived here.
