Former Dutch Leather & Shoe Museum
As of Jan. 16, 2017, the Dutch Leather and Shoe Museum on Alder Road is closed to the public. A mural can still be seen on the building, however. The Nederlands Leder & Schoenen Museum had a large collection of footwear. The shoe factory and tannery showed contemporary and old manufacturing processes. In 2022, Het Schoenenkwartier opened, Waalwijk's new leather and shoe museum.
