De Smulhoeve

De Smulhoeve lies along the following routes:

A stone's throw from National Park De Loonse en Drunense Duinen - and ten walking minutes from top amusement park De Efteling - you will find the cozy beast mess of De Smulhoeve. This unique recreation spot in Kaatsheuvel is a special horse farm, where families with children often bid a fond farewell to the horses, alpacas, goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, cats and dogs after a wonderful vacation. In the words of guests Karlijn and Ilse: "What a pleasant week we had. For the children it was like coming home and they enjoyed it intensely. Big tears when we had to leave again. Thank you Karin for this grandiose week it was a party. You are a topper."
Experience how man and animal are central here and come and enjoy the 'Fun with a Shet' and 'Fun with a tuber' parties....

Care and hiking ponies
This coziness gets an extra cheerful touch if you book your own grooming pony at the tent. You can then lovingly brush, stroke and cuddle them, but you can also take them into the riding arena! De Smulhoeve has two riding arenas and a specially constructed, new hiking trail on its own grounds. Here you can safely, between wooden fencing, walk a beautiful trail with ponies AND alpacas. You will find several (riding) options on and around the property. For example, you can, held by a parent, explore the adjacent Loonse and Drunense Dunes while riding during the weekly walk in the woods. This beautiful piece of shifting sand nature is one of the most beautiful and striking nature reserves in the Netherlands.

Luxury glamping
And not only animals are well cared for here! As a guest, you may enjoy yourself just as firmly in one of the nineteen luxury farm glamping tents. Affiliated with FarmCamps, and thus a 100% kid-proof, informal alternative to large-scale campsites or vacation parks. The tents all have private bathrooms and are equipped with real beds. Guaranteed enjoyment!
