The water landscape is an integral area development in the vicinity of the North Sewage Treatment Plant, Noorderplas and Noorderbos to Zwaluwenbunders. Technical tasks for water, such as collecting, purifying and draining water, are linked here to tasks and wishes for nature, agriculture, recreation, cultural history and energy.
From these tasks Bureau H+N+S created a coherent, attractive and functional design for the area. How do you give shape to the area so that it acquires meaning and fits within the (water) history of the area, the greater whole of Landscape Park Pauwels, Van Gogh National Park and 'the next landscape'? This landscape will take shape over the next 10 years.
