Between node 10 and 09

• Business park Haven 8 Waalwijk. With the striking doom.

Between node 09 and 03

• ECO park. Former landfill covered with solar panels, a bio-digester and windmills. Also note the voracious tracks of beavers.

Between node 03 and 04

• Bovenlandsche lock and Gansoyen pumping station. Intersection of Oude Maasje/Koningsvliet, Zuiderkanaal, Drongelens Kanaal, Bergsche Maas.

Between node 04 and 05

• Doeverense Schans and inundation sluice. Defense stronghold of the locks on the Elshoutse Zeedijk and recently restored lock.

Between node 87 and 86

• Duck decoy "ter Kwak". Straight through nature reserve De Hooibroeken.

Between node 86 and 84

• NOTE: After knp 86, follow knp 85 for a while until you reach the top. Where you should actually turn right, keep going straight ahead (follow walking node 73). A little further keep right, towards Heesbeen and knp 84 and then follow knp 85.
• Heesbeen. Be sure to take some time to visit the century-old little church.

Between nodes 85, 83, 01 and 60

• Fortified Town of Heusden. Along the ramparts and through the town.

• NOTE: From knp 01, follow knp 85 through the center of Heusden to the Wijkse Poort. Go under the gate, keep following the road and go up at the junction. Cross the Nieuwe Maasdijk towards the Heusden bridge and follow knp 60 from there.
• Pillory. After Wijkse Poort, at the top of the city wall.
• Jewish cemetery. After the dilapidated Jonker Fris company buildings, you'll see the Jewish cemetery at the bottom left of the dike.
• Heusden Bridge. Beautiful cable-stayed bridge over the Bergsche Maas.

Between node 97 and 37

• The Kromme Nol. Water barrier between Maas and Waal to protect Bommelerwaard during high water.
• CAUTION: You will follow N831, a narrow and busy road, for a while from here. Do not cycle side by side and keep a good right!

Between nodes 37, 32 and 81

• Nederhemert-South and Bern. Enjoy the peaceful oasis and bike past the church for a while.

Between nodes 81 and 82

• Bern Ferry. Ferry service across the Bergsche Maas. free for cyclists.

Between node 82 and 41

• Dam block Bergsche Maas. In 1273, a dam here changed the course of the Meuse to avoid tolls from Heusden, among other things.

Between node 41 and 42

• Hedikhuizen. 2 x former church and fort of the same name.
• Zuiderwaterlinie and Stelling van Heusden. Inundation Lock.
• Haarsteegse Wiel. Bird sanctuary and fishing water.

Between node 42 and 89

• Haarsteeg. Characteristic Brabant village with St. Lambertus church.
• Optional: Visit Mariënkroon Abbey from traffic circle. 1.6 km extra.

Between node 88 and 92

• Inn 'In den gekroonden hoed'. Anno 1744.
• Roman Catholic Church St. John Evangelist. Neo-Gothic church in Elshout.

Between node 92 and 70

• Maria Chapel 'Miraculous Mother'. Place of pilgrimage in Elshout.

Between node 70 and 14

• Elshoutse Zeedijk. Century-old dike with several wheels next to it.
• 'Johanna of Brabant' mill. Anno 1838.

Between nodes 14 and 15

• Signalman's House. On the former Crescent Line. Now bike path.
• Baardwijk Spillway. Former spillway. Now nature reserve.
• Old railroad bridge. Restored industrial monument.

Between node 15 and 44

• RKC Stadium.

Between node 44 and 08

• War memorial by J.A. Raedecker. At the edge of the city walking park.

Between node 08 and 10

• Winterdijk. It was built after the Sint Elisabethflood to protect the region from flooding. The road behind the dike was called "De Langhe Straet," after which the region was named.
• Kropholler Complex. Former town hall of Waalwijk, since 2022 the Schoenenkwartier is located here.
• Hay Lane. Restored shoemaker's cottages and town garden.
• Sint Jansplein with the neo-Byzantine Sint Jan de Doperkerk, one of the most beautiful churches in the Netherlands. Viewing is possible from Wed to Sun from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. For more info: see site vriendensintjanwaalwijk.nl
